Using the same format than the supposed one, gets:
Final
debmirror --nosource -m --passive --method=ftp --host=archive.ubuntu.com --root=ubuntu --progress --dist=hardy,hardy-security,hardy-updates,hardy-backports --section=main,universe --arch=i386 --ignore-release-gpg ~/gNewSenseRepos

Options:
  • No source download
  • Uses md5sums
  • Using passive FTP
  • Using the Ubuntu Archive
  • Showing progress
  • Enable:
    • Security
    • Updates
    • Backports
  • Sections
    • Main
    • Universe
  • i386 Arch
  • Ignore gpg

Does this setup compromise any of the freedom that gNewSense has been working on?
I just realize how dump this question was, the glx, mesa, linux kernel, and some packages aren't free, it's not a good idea to keep going with this setup.  :-/
