Continuing with this investigation:
This is the first supposed one (for comparing reasons)
Supposed one:debmirror --nosource -m --passive --host=
archive.gnewsense.org --root=gnewsense/ --method=ftp --progress --dist=deltah,deltah-security,deltah-updates,deltah-backports, --section=main,universe --arch=i386 ~/gNewSenseRepos --ignore-release-gpg
I found this on builder, so i use it.
Builder one:debmirror --verbose --progress --method=http --host=
archive.ubuntu.com --arch=i386 --source --dist=hardy,hardy-security,hardy-updates,hardy-backports --section=main,main/debian-installer,universe --ignore-release-gpg --root=ubuntu /the/target/
Using the same format than the supposed one, gets:
Finaldebmirror --nonsource -m --passive --method=ftp --host=
archive.ubuntu.com --root=ubuntu --progress --dist=hardy,hardy-security,hardy-updates,hardy-backports --section=main,universe --arch=i386 --ignore-release-gpg ~/gNewSenseRepos
Options:- No source download
- Uses md5sums
- Using passive FTP
- Using the Ubuntu Archive
- Showing progress
- Enable:
- Security
- Updates
-
Backports
- Sections
- i386 Arch
- Ignore gpg
Does this setup compromise any of the freedom that gNewSense has been working on?
