Dear co-fredomers.

I have SiS Real256E

$ lspci -v -s01:00.0
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
    Subsystem: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] [M]661xX/[M]741[GX]/[M]760 PCI/AGP VGA Adapter
    Flags: 66MHz, medium devsel, IRQ 10
    BIST result: 00
    Memory at d8000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
    Memory at febe0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
    I/O ports at e800 [size=128]
    Capabilities: <access denied>

The problem is I have display that looks as if it has static electricity in it. See sparks in all parts of the display. It worked well with windowz. Tried a different monitor but have the same problem. Used "sis" and "vesa" in driver for xorg.conf

Please help me with pointers.
