Ever since I installed gNewSense 1.9, I noticed that when I run "sudo
su" in gnome-terminal, it logs me automatically back out.

This bug also seems to occur in Debian and Ubuntu, see here:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476519
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sudo/+bug/224802

I haven't found any possible solution for this until now, someone else
perhaps has?
