How come?  I thought that Ubuntu guarantee an upgrade path from LTS to
LTS+1, which presumably means users only have to follow the Release
Notes (which seem to be lacking for gNS) and change their
/etc/apt/sources.list at some point during the process (`aptitude
dist-upgrade', etc, etc.)

I don't have a CD on any of my machines (I borrow one when I make the
initial installation), so I find it very surprising that the release
announcement is a link to a CD image.

If "currently" means "there is currently no way, but will be available
soon", that's of course perfectly OK.

What has to be done about it and what precisely is the problem for the
lack of this crucial feature?
