Other than the kernel, no.

It's generally best to try to reproduce a bug in Ubuntu to confirm
it's an Ubuntu bug. There can be rather interesting ways that packages
can break under gNewSense. This way, you can be confident that it's an
upstream bug. Testing on two systems also reduces the chance that your
configuration is the issue.
