I changed my root to ext3 after a *nasty* partial file corruption on
both my partitions. :(  It happened when I powered off without shutting
down.  The install was screwed up (including apt), so I reinstalled.
Unfortunately, some data is also corrupted so I'm having to copy from
backups (which I conveniently made when I switched to gNewSense). :(
