I just dist-upgraded a box that I installed and updated gnewsense 1.0 on about
a week and a half ago (i think). It pulled down a handful of libs,
poppler-utils, artwork, firefox, firefox-gnome-support, and that was about it.
It came to 14.8MB downloaded....
