What is the make and model of your wireless card/chip? If it's Centrino then you probably won't be able to use it with gNewSense (at least not with 100% Free Software) because it requires the loading of binary-only firmware in order to use it.The live CD loaded, but it didn't recognise my wi-fi at all, and I couldn't get onto the net.
