For June's meeting (on 19th) we are thinking of having a talk (and
discussion) on the legal and political matters relating to Free Software
and computing freedom, particularly given that GDPR has recently come
into force. This could cover not only GDPR but also areas such as the
Data Protection Act 2018 (yes, 2018!), the Digital Single Market policy
including copyright reform, more widespread realisation of the
consequences of data slurping + data analytics, and so on. Thoughts and
comments?

I'd also like to do a lightning talk on my further experience of the
[GNU/]LFS system including Beyond [GNU/]Linux from scratch and
especially Guix.

Other topics that have been suggested for the talks in the year:

* GNU MediaGoblin
** Not packaged for Debian stable nor backports (nor Guix) and doesn't
look likely.
* Tahoe-LAFS
** https://packages.debian.org/tahoe-lafs
* Blender
** https://packages.debian.org/blender
** https://hydra.gnu.org/search?query=blender
** Upcoming 2.8 version: https://www.blender.org/2-8/

Thoughts and comments?

Thanks,
M.
