The BCS, jointly with some companies, are holding an event/talk about
software patents on "Wednesday, 25 Jan 2012 , 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM" at
"Marks & Clerk LLP, 1 New York Street, M1 4HD". Software patents are
very bad for free software (and software in general), for more

MFS had a screening of Patent Absurdity in May 2010.

I am going to attend so as learn more about what is happening in the
software patent "business" and to put the case for why software patents
are bad. I would like other free software activists to attend so they
can do the same.
