Given that we are targeting K-12 you are almost surely qualified for
something. Since you work with kids you have a real leg up (over me,
at least).
Since we only go through High School, and we have already adopted this
(http://www.greenteapress.com/thinkpython/), we are probably covered
on that front.
We need almost everything. You needn't wait for someone else to start
a text. If you want to write a chapter out of the clear blue, more
power to you.
Some random ideas to get the wheels turning:
A chapter on Central Europe for an 8th grade Geography text.
A list of vocabulary words for third graders.
A summary of US involvement in the Balkans in the '90s for a High
School History text.
