For Ubuntu I made it with this: 
http://www.nongnu.org/enigma/download.html#compilation 

But if I understand well one of Raoul's posts, it should not come up with 
BerliOS anymore, but Sourceforge instead (did not test it yet).

By the way I am a wikipedia writer, so if anyone here has suggestions for this

well, you know, you're welcome! I also plan one day or the other, to create an 
article in French wikipedia...
