Helo!
My name is Marta Rogowska and I'm a Product Manager assistant of polish
magazine Linux+ published by Software Wydawnictwo ( Publishing House).
I have a question. We would like to put Your game on CD as a gift or just
entertainment for our readers. Do You think it will be possible?
Let me know if it would be ok. I'll be looking forward for Your decision.
Please contact me if you have any question or need more details.
Best Regards
Yes. You may put the game Enigma on CD. Enigma is licenced under the GNU
GPL,
which allows anybody to publish the game, under a couple of conditions.
The important one is that you include the source code on the cd. (There is
an alternative if
that is not possible.) The source code is a file whose size is approximately
10 MB.
The file is available at
http://download.berlios.de/enigma-game/enigma-1.01.tar.gz
Considering that the name of the magazine is Linux+, I'm presuming you are
interested in including
the Linux version of the game. However, as you may know, there are multiple
Linux distributions.
If you could provide further information about which Linux distributions you
are interested in including the game for,
we may be able to assist in selecting the best files for inclusion on the
CD.
