Hi Darshit.
I have a recutils database and I'm trying to run recfix on it to encrypt
certain fields. However, the recifx command fails with:
recfix: error: renaming file /tmp/reciIKkkt to soc2018.rec
strace(1) shows that the rename operation fails because of: -1 EXDEV
(Invalid cross-device link)
Since my /tmp is not backed by disk, but lies entirely in tmpfs, I think
this
may be the reason. Is there an easy fix available?
As a workaround, you can always set TMPDIR to point somewhere else.
