And here is the dataset D, which is like C from before in that it
causes readline to go into an infinite loop and hang.

(By the way, I don't think this is the same bug as the one using
printf I mentioned in the previous email even though they have the
same effect. The previous bug locks up both rltest.c and rl.c. Example
D only affects rltest.c. The main difference between the two is that
rltest.c exercises libhistory in addition to libreadline, whereas rl.c
only uses libreadline.)
