Yes, after the latest portability fix in 43b1d3 (our source) and
commit 8a8ef5 in Gnulib, I am successfully using Debian testing
at one end and FreeBSD 8.2 at the other end. Both patches are
needed to get the executables to work on FreeBSD. The readutmp
module of Gnulib has never been functional in either of FreeBSD
and OpenBSD, but now it is, except that FreeBSD 9.0 introduced
their own interpretation of utmpx, so the module is still broken
from 9.0 and onwards, but for an unrelated reason.
