Note that coreutils doesn't even install 'hostname' by default, at least
according to their NEWS entry:

  * Noteworthy changes in release 6.9.90 (2007-12-01) [beta]
  ...
  ** Programs no longer installed by default
    hostname, su

So this duplication might not be a big problem.
