[bug-inetutils] Feature Enhanced GNU InetUtils 2.0.0 alpha released

Greetings.

This message announces the first experimental release of Feature
Enhanced GNU InetUtils, a fork of the official GNU InetUtils.

The motivation behind the fork is to be able to add new features to
GNU InetUtils.  Initially the features are security oriented, like
adding Kerberos 5 and TLS support to telnet or ftp, but other ideas
are welcome.

There will be irregular releases of this fork until patches are
accepted up-stream.  The philosophy will be to make the additions
easily integrated into up-stream.  All new features are disabled by
default, and hidden behind #if conditionals.

Noteworthy changes in this release:

* Version 2.0.0 (released 2004-06-12)

** Added Kerberos 5 authentication support for telnet(d), rsh(d),
   rlogin(d), contributed by Nicolas Pouvesle and Simon Josefsson.

** Added AUTH TLS support to ftp client, contributed by Nikos Mavroyanopoulos.

** First initial release as "FEG InetUtils", earlier snapshots has
   been released as a Shishi specific fork of GNU InetUtils.
