Cool. I personally hate defface. And customize is pretty broken when
it comes to faces too. IMO, the best way to define a face is with
`make-face' and then manipulate it with `set-face-*'.

Believe it or not, I haven't looked at it yet. I'll do so now and
report back on what I find.
