noob question import from MSHV

Hi

sorry its an idiot question

I've started using FT8 , after much resistance , I've tried importing as 
adif, but nothing appears in xlog.

I used xlog in the past, but not for a long time, as I rarely send qsl 
cards and scribbling in a paper log was quicker.

But now the situation has changed and need some useable logging from MSHV

If anyone else has successfully imported from MSHV how did they do it
