Walter Tautz created an issue: https://gitlab.com/gnuwget/wget2/-/issues/621
Typically we have something like What does this link refer to
and if URL is something like
http[s]:/site/dir/something_non_informative.pdf but has a informative
description like, say,
"Ph.D. thesis on algebraic sheaves on stacks of finite type over characteristic
p",
then wget2 could put in a softlink to 'something_non_informative.pdf' with this
description field, or perhaps a hard link within the same directory.
Reason: I would like to do a file search that finds this more informative title
of a non-descriptive filename. Perhaps would could also put these links into a
separate directory trees with the authors name. Basically make the renaming or
linking much more configurable.
