Is what I have used on windows for it, and seems to work, but run the released 
version of wget2 on linux machines with Fedora and it is much faster with the 
threading. So that is over a year old???
Tried the git stuff above, but on Fedora it fails to compile under ming or even 
under native linux, so not sure what Fedora did to get it in repo. Perhaps they 
have an earlier version.

Under linux with wine get this.
# ./wget2.exe --version
