I don't like OpenSSL docs very much. The [docs for 
`OCSP_single_get0_status`](https://www.openssl.org/docs/man1.1.1/man3/OCSP_single_get0_status.html)
 are not clear on what to expect if `nextUpd` is not present. By [looking at 
other 
parts](https://github.com/openssl/openssl/blob/master/crypto/ocsp/ocsp_cl.c#L341)
 of the OpenSSL code, I assume it will be `NULL`.
