I'm interested in taking this issue up.

I did a bit of investigation on the issue, and found that the error codes must 
belong to the file `gpgme.c`. Also the function `void gpgme_strerror_r` called 
in `src/gpgme.c` is responsible for translating the error code into a printable 
string. However, this function has not been defined anywhere. 

Is this something that is being done currently? If not, I'll be willing to 
write the function needed and shift these error codes into that function.
