Valid again. I shall do that. And I thought of changing the configure for curl 
to simply reduce the compilation time.

I know why! I updated the bootstrap script which now uses Wget instead of rsync 
for downloading the po files. But our containers were configured for rsync. 
Will have to:
1. Add wget to the buildreq of botostrap. But that is a bootstrapping problem, 
you need wget to build wget. (This is a very different discussion to be had)
2. Rebuild our containers with wget preinstalled.
