Please do keep trying to reach him, but don't get too upset about it.

About two weeks after your first message, send another.
And ask another person to send a message from a different site.
Also seach on whowhere.com and ordinary search engines to
find other addresses for him, and send there.

About two weeks later, send another message to the same places.

About two weeks later, declare him "gone" and don't worry about
him any more.

In between, during the two-week intervals, don't worry about him
either.  You have many other things to do.
