has been published. The Hurd Hacking Guide is a document describing the
basics of Mach and Hurd programming. It is available as

Texinfo</A> document (about 21K), as
<A HREF="http://www.8ung.at/shell/hhg.txt.gz">gzip compressed plain
text</A> (about 19K) and as

HTML</A> (about 70K).
