show words of context?

Denver, Martin, anyone - the one feature I really miss in wdiff (which I
use all the time) is a way to show N words of context around a change,
analogous to diff's showing lines of context. Otherwise, the output from
wdiff -3 can be awfully bare.

Any chance of implementing this? Unless I'm missing some way to get this
that exists now. It would be greatly, greatly appreciated. If not,
conceivably I could look into it, or even take over the package if
there's no other interest any more. It seems the last release was in 2014.
