Are you using digraphs.rc ?  As I noted, I made a change in map.c that
could be the problem.  (It does fix a problem, but may need more work).


Indeed I am; I source it in .vilerc. I'll take that out, reinstall 9.5n
and let you know whether it fixes the problem.

thanks - I'm interested to see how to reproduce your problem (so I can
fix it).

A problem with map could make things slower, e.g., if it caused vile
to wait for another character to flush out the mapped sequence.
(I use a few map's, but nothing so extensive as digraph.rc).
