Hi,

There exist many GNU mirror sites in http. You can find one of them in the GNU 
FTP list
(http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html) than has not a very relevant name actually.

For example using the first http mirror listed, I successfully found 
gprolog-1.2.16 :
http://mirrors.kernel.org/gnu/gprolog/gprolog-1.2.16.tar.gz.
