I've applied the patch also for Tramp 2.7. This will appear on GNU ELPA
next days, as Tramp 2.7.1.1.

I've not merged this to the emacs-30 branch. This branch shall see only
bug fixes, because it is closed to the release. People who want to
profit from the patch can always use Tramp's GNU ELPA version. This
Tramp version is applicable to all Emacs versions down to Emacs 27.1.
