Sure Michael!,
Here’s an example of running find-file:
(find-file
"/ssh:miguel@172.28.3.249|sudo:expression_aws@172.28.3.249|ssh:admin@172.28.0.87|sudo:root@172.28.0.87:/usr/local/sbin/poll_backends.py")
So 4 multihops. It is of course more slow but, even one seems to be slow.
