Hi, I'm trying out emacs 24.4 pre-release (24.3.90). Tramp can display small files, but larger ones (e.g. 16kB) give this message: --- Tramp: Waiting for prompts from remote shell...done Copying /scp:address@hidden:/home/robn/tmp/menuInfo.pl to /tmp/tramp.12844xJf.pl...failed Tramp: Inserting `/scp:address@hidden:/home/robn/tmp/menuInfo.pl'...failed File exists, but cannot be read --- The permissions on the files tested are the same; they are all readable. The only difference is the size. As I said, small ones are fine, large ones give the error.
