Could you, please, set tramp-verbose to 6, and rerun the test?
Afterwards, I would like to see the contents of Tramp's debug buffer as
well as the settings of tramp-default-host, tramp-default-method,
tramp-default-method-alist, tramp-default-proxies-alist,
tramp-default-user, tramp-default-user-alist.
