What Tom said should work fine.  I wrote a third implementation myself:

(On my TODO list for this week is to publish a python3 update!)

I used it with a K3NG keyer originally.  I moved later to a K1EL WinKeyer.

To use any of these, just configure TLF to use cwdaemon, start one of
these up instead of cwdaemon, and start TLF.  (Yes, starting it by
hand maybe isn't a real daemon.)  It works great.
