Hello all,

Hope everyone had a merry holiday!

Javi and I exchanged emails before the holiday (and the Savannah
compromise) and he has given me permission to start committing my
patches to the Savannah tree, after posting them to the list and
dicussion (if any). We also talked about using the patch, bug, task
tools provided by the Savannah site as well.

So now that I am back from holiday ... I have started the re-sync
process from my tree to the Savannah tree, and I am getting familiar
with the tools and hope to be committing many patches soon.

Here is the first 4 patches I have submitted to the patch tool and would
like to commit later this week. Please test and/or provide feedback
since I do not have access to all the Hardware/OS tiger runs on.

[Note: I actively test on HP-UX 10.20, 11.00, and 11.11 and I am
currently building up older i386 systems running different revs of
Debian, SuSE, and RedHat so I can expand my testing].

PATCHES:

Remove check_sendmail from check.tbl
http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2438

Make check_ssh posix compliant.
http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2439

Define NETSTAT for HPUX.
http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2440

Simplify Tiger_PATH_OK_Owners and TIGER_PATH_OK_Group_Write in tigerrc
http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2441

Thanks,

- Ryan

P.S. I am also subscribed to the tiger package in the Debian BTS so I
will be aware of any bugs getting reported there as well.
