yearly copyright updates

I just updated all the files which use "2014" as static text in one way
or another, e.g., --version strings.

When updating other source files for the first time this year, don't
forget to update the copyright list.  Emacs can do that with
copyright-update, e.g., as a write hook.  I don't know about other editors.
