    Maybe an example should be added to the Info manual as well.

Examples are good.  Please do.  Any example worth being in the --help
text should surely also be in the manual.

    "info bash set" to go straight to the description of the builtin
    command. (You wouldn't know to type "info bash 'The Set Builtin'".)

Ok, that's a good point.  Accepted.
