no paragraph stopping and restart, as it is in @code:

In TeX, it does start a new paragraph there. Just like it was
@code{AA
BB}
That seems to be logical?
* form-feed is treated as a regular space in all line-oriented
@-commands, @center, @exdent, @node, @section, @ifclear, @end,
Ok. TeX behavior is somewhat different than a "regular space" in those
contexts, but it's not especially desirable, and I don't think it really
matters if TeX and makeinfo behave the same. really shouldn't be
occurring in such places anyway.
* form-feed is kept as is in preformatted contexts, @example...
