Indeed, but @key is not distinguished in @kbd.
What I propose to do is to use <kbd> or <code> for @kbd based on
kbdinputstyle, as is currently. Then, for @key, if already in a
monospace environment do nothing (or maybe <span class="key">, if
in normal text use <tt class="key">.
Browser render <kbd> the same as <code> for me, but it would be easy to
have a css style that says that kbd should be slanted
(font-style:oblique). Should be do that?
