rendering of @error{}

Hello,

I am trying to allow for translations of @error{}, and while I'm at 
it, since the translations allows to have texinfo code, maybe it would be
better to use a real arrow instead of --> for error, like

 address@hidden

Don't you think it would be better than the current

 error-->

It would lead to 
 error->
in some cases, but with unicode/utf8 it would use an arrow glyph.
