[Techne-devel] WebKitGTK+ removal in Fedora 27+ due to security issues

Hello, Dimitris!

With Fedora 27 (due to be released in fall 2017), webkitgtk and
webkitgtk3 packages will be removed from the distribution due to a high
number of unfixed security vulnerabilities [1].

This change already took place in Fedora Rawhide as of Mar 14 2017 with
 webkitgtk and webkitgtk3 packages being retired [2].

The proposed solution in [1] is to port applications to WebKit2.

What are your plans with Techne with regard to WebKitGTK+ insecurities
and deprecation in favour of WebKit2?
