[Synaptic-devel] Distribution logo?

Hi,

synaptic displays the distribution's logo (debian/ubuntu) for packages
of the main distributions.

Where does synaptic get this logo from and how does it decide which
logo to use? Is this hardcoded?

Is it possible to set an arbitrary logo for a hand-craftet tree of
debian packages?
