Hi all,New to the list and new to Synaptic. I was wondering if anyone can point me to where I can find some documentation. I have just installed it on a RH9 box and am attempting to use it. I did manage to figure out how to add to the repository list, but now when I look at the packages, I see some highlighted in yellow with what looks like a N if front of it, and also the ones with the arrows in front of it. I figured out that the arrows mean it has an upgrade to it, but I do not understand the highlighted ones. Also need to know that if I selecte a package to upgrade will it pull any dependinces that it needs, or do I need to go out and select them. Many other questions that are really newbie!!!!!
Thanks. Lee Perez
