I'm supplying and distributing the packages for suse (afaik ;)
And the latest apt version I distributed is apt-0.5.5cnc6, while I've
apt-0.5.15cnc2 installed myself. I think that I compiled synaptic against
the latter version and hence the undefined error. Thanks for pointing this
out!
