Hello Modellers:The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will once again be sponsoring a two-week short course in agent- and individual-based modeling, 14-27 June, 2009. The course is conducted by the Technical University of Dresden, and held in Bad Schandau, a small resort town outside Dresden.
The class is intended primarily for graduate students planning to use agent-based modeling in their research. We focus on teaching both modeling skills and NetLogo as a platform.
The class will be in English, and students from all countries are welcome to apply. Most costs (including travel for non-German students) will be paid by DAAD.
Information is at: http://www.forst.tu-dresden.de/summerschool Thank you for passing this notice on to interested students. Steve Railsback
