There are three things that need to be set:

1) The PATH must include the bin/ subdirectory where the file 
javaswarm.dll resides.
2) The CLASSPATH must include both swarm.jar and kawa.jar
3) SWARMHOME needs to be set to the top of your unpacked distribution.  
Use forward slashes in this setting.

Then you just use "java SomeDemo" to start. The javacswarm/javaswarm 
just set these on Unix, but the Windows distribution doesn't include 
them because Swarm for Java on Windows no longer uses Unix support 
(Cygwin).
