Does anyone know of other companies using SVG for GIS? Is use of SVG
a familiar idea or common practice in the GIS community?
Here's a SVG document that's a map of Autauga County, Alabama that has
a moving car on it. I think it's pretty spiffy. It worked for me on a
Mac running IE5 and using the Adobe SVG plugin.
The animation is done with a JavaScript loop that manipulates elements
in the SVG document, but since Swarm models can now be written in
JavaScript....
