GNU was accepted as a GSoC'08 organization. I'm not yet able to edit
the organization profile, I'm guessing Google is still working on the
infrastructure.
Meanwhile, mentors, I hope you can submit applications to be a mentor
for the project (from your gmail account). Please do that. And let's
encourage students to start applying. I will send out an announcement.
If anyone can check out #gsoc on freenode and help anyone looking for
GNU mentors, please do. I don't have IRC myself. (Long story.)
